Netanyahu: The possibility of a partial ceasefire-hostage deal is behind us

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made statements to the Israeli press.

Stating that the possibility of a partial ceasefire-hostage deal with Hamas is "behind us," Netanyahu said, "We have made every effort.

We have come a long way. We realized that they were misleading us," he said.

Netanyahu announced that he wants all hostages, both alive and dead, in the Gaza Strip to be released.

Regarding a question about reports that Israeli Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir was against the plan to occupy Gaza City, Netanyahu stated that he welcomes disagreements within the cabinet but that the final decision rests with him.
