Netanyahu to hold meetings with Biden and Trump

U.S. President Joe Biden, who has been resting in the state of Delaware since contracting COVID-19, is expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has arrived in Washington to address Congress, on Thursday, July 25.

A U.S. official provided a statement to an AA reporter regarding the Biden-Netanyahu meeting, which had been the subject of public speculation as to whether it would take place.

The U.S. official stated that Biden is expected to meet with Netanyahu at the White House on Thursday, July 25.

The meeting between the two is expected to comprehensively address the current situation in Gaza and evaluate scenarios regarding ceasefire negotiations.

Meanwhile, the White House announced that Biden, who has been resting in isolation at his home in Delaware since testing positive for COVID-19 on July 17, will return to the White House today to resume his routine duties.

Reports in Israeli and U.S. media had previously suggested that Biden, who has been in Delaware since July 17, might not meet with Netanyahu due to his illness. 

WILL HE MEET WITH TRUMP?

It has been stated that Netanyahu's team is working to arrange an appointment with the Republican candidate, former President Donald Trump, during the Prime Minister's first trip abroad since October 7 and his first visit to Washington in four years.
