Very harsh statement from Netanyahu:

As tensions between Israel and Palestine escalate, a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has caused global concern.

Speaking after meeting with his security cabinet in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu pointed out that what has happened is unprecedented in the country's history and said, "We will take powerful revenge for this dark day."

Netanyahu continued his remarks as follows:

"We will reach every point where Hamas is hiding. I call on the people of Gaza to leave these places. Hamas wants to kill every Israeli. This is an enemy that murders mothers, women, and children in their homes, in their beds. An enemy that kidnaps the elderly, children, and young girls"...

OPERATION AL-AQSA FLOOD

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced that it had launched a comprehensive attack on Israel on the morning of October 7, dubbed "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood."

While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza toward Israel, armed groups entered settlements in the region. In response, the Israeli army announced that it had launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.

While many people have lost their lives in the mutual attacks, thousands have been injured.
