Netanyahu visits Lebanon border

As tensions between Israel and Hezbollah continue, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Lebanon border.

During his visit, Netanyahu observed an exercise by the 55th Reserve Paratrooper Brigade.

Netanyahu claimed that if a war were to break out with Hezbollah, Israel would emerge victorious on this front as well.

MUTUAL ATTACKS CONTINUE BETWEEN ISRAEL AND HEZBOLLAH AT THE BORDER

Hezbollah announced that it had carried out an attack on a military target in the Metulla settlement, located along Israel's border line in southern Lebanon.

In a statement released by Hezbollah, it was noted that buildings used by Israeli soldiers in Metulla were hit directly, causing fires to break out at the sites, and that soldiers inside were killed and wounded.

On the other hand, a report by the Israeli state broadcaster KAN stated that 4 anti-tank missiles were fired from Lebanon at the Metulla settlement in northern Israel, causing material damage to homes but resulting in no casualties.

The Israeli military, in its own statement, announced that it had struck a structure, an observation post, and a military building belonging to Hezbollah in the Shebaa, Ayta ash-Shab, and Al-Khiam regions of southern Lebanon.

The statement also reported that artillery fire was directed at the Shebaa, Kafr Shuba, Kafr Hammam, and Al-Matmura regions.

The Lebanese news agency NNA reported that the outskirts of the towns of Zabqin and Yater, as well as surrounding valleys, were subjected to intermittent Israeli artillery shelling.

The report stated that Israeli warplanes struck the towns of Al-Khiam-Bab es-Seniyye and Ayta ash-Shab with surface-to-air missiles, and that an artillery attack was also carried out on the town of Al-Wazzani.
