Netanyahu: We have shifted into higher gear in the Gaza Strip

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that they will continue their attacks and occupation policy in the Gaza Strip.

In a video message published on his X account, the Israeli Prime Minister announced that they have divided the southern cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis, where they are conducting intense attacks, with a new corridor they have established.

Stating that the line separating Rafah and Khan Yunis, which he named the "Morag Corridor," is a "second Philadelphi Corridor," Netanyahu said, "Tonight we have shifted into higher gear in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army is seizing territory, striking terrorists, and destroying infrastructure."

Netanyahu said, "We are now breaking the Gaza Strip into pieces and applying pressure step by step to have our hostages handed over to us. And as long as they do not return them, we will increase the pressure even further."

GROUND OFFENSIVE LAUNCHED

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that they have expanded the attacks they restarted after breaking the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Stating that they aim to occupy more territory in the Gaza Strip with the expansion of the attacks as of this morning, Katz argued that these areas would be included in Israel's "security zone."

With the attacks it has restarted on Gaza, the Israeli army has issued "evacuation orders" for the forced displacement of the residents of the city of Rafah.

The Israeli army had resumed its intense attacks on the morning of March 18, following the ceasefire that had come into effect in the Gaza Strip on January 19.
