Netanyahu: 'We will redraw the map of the Middle East'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that they would change the political map of the Middle East in close cooperation with US President Donald Trump. Netanyahu made statements to reporters at the airport before his visit to Washington.

Stating that the operations against Hamas and Hezbollah have changed the dynamics of the region, Netanyahu said the following:

'With these steps, we have redrawn the map. However, I believe that by working together with President Trump, we can achieve an even better result.'

Emphasizing that the Abraham Accords, signed during Trump's first term, were an important turning point for the region, Netanyahu added, 'These agreements have had major consequences for Israel and the Middle East,' he said.

It was reported that as part of his Washington visit, Netanyahu will also meet with Steve Witkoff, Trump's Special Envoy to the Middle East. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that the second phase of ceasefire and hostage exchange negotiations in Gaza would be discussed during the meetings.
