Netanyahu's Iran message to escalate tensions: 'The war is not over'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an interview with United States media, made assessments regarding the conflicts with Iran and the tension in the region. Stating that the war against the Tehran administration is not yet complete, Netanyahu emphasized that Iran's uranium enrichment program must be completely terminated.

Netanyahu underscored the necessity of permanently eliminating Tehran's nuclear capacity, saying, “The war with Iran is not over. Enrichment facilities must be dismantled and highly enriched uranium must be removed.” The Israeli leader stated that among the priority goals of his country and the US are the destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities, the halting of ballistic missile projects, and the neutralization of Iran's proxy militias in the region.

Claiming that Iran's military potential has been largely limited to date, Netanyahu said, “There is still much work to be done. Although we have significantly reduced their capabilities, Iran still possesses various means.”

Netanyahu also mentioned that discussions are being held with US President Donald Trump regarding the future of enriched uranium that has been moved out of the country, and relayed that Trump told him he “wants to go there.”

In the Iranian press, there were reports that the Tehran administration had responded to a proposal conveyed by the US through Pakistan regarding ending the war. However, no official statement has been made regarding the content of said response.
