Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's advisor Jonathan Urich and his spokesperson Eliezer Feldstein have been arrested as part of the "Qatargate" investigation. It has been learned that Netanyahu himself has been summoned for questioning.

According to a report by Israeli state television KAN, the arrest decision came after it was revealed that Israeli businessman Gil Bilger transferred money to Feldstein from a US citizen employed by Qatar.

It was reported that Feldstein and Urich, who were arrested as part of the "Qatargate" investigation, are also accused of "contacting a foreign agent" and "money laundering."

While Urich, who was detained and interrogated as part of the investigation two weeks ago, was taken from his home and arrested, it was reported that the decision for house arrest was maintained for Feldstein, who had been arrested and placed under house arrest as part of the "leaking of classified documents" case.

Additionally, it was noted that a media member suspected of acting as an intermediary between Feldstein and Bilger was also detained for questioning.

On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has also been summoned for questioning with the approval of Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara.

While Netanyahu was offered the option to provide a statement today or on another day, it was stated that the Prime Minister chose to provide his statement today.

It was reported that Netanyahu's statement would be taken at the Prime Minister's Office in West Jerusalem.
