Pakistan's caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has announced that all New Year's celebrations in the country have been banned due to Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza.

New Year's celebrations banned in Pakistan

Pakistan's caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has announced that all New Year's celebrations have been banned in response to Israel's attacks on Palestine.

Kakar stated that they made this decision to show solidarity with the Palestinians, who have been subjected to Israeli bombardment since October 7.

The Prime Minister expressed that the war has led to a catastrophe and called on the people of Pakistan and the Muslim world to support their Palestinian brothers and sisters.

He further stated that Pakistan's aid to Palestine will continue and that they will persist in their efforts to stop the bloodshed caused by Israel.
