Now NATO countries are in Trump's crosshairs! 'The US has no expectations, but...'

US President Donald Trump criticized NATO member countries in a post on the social media platform Truth Social.

Targeting NATO countries that did not support the international mission planned to ensure the safety of tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz, Trump used the following expressions:

"NATO countries have done nothing to help with the crazy country of Iran, which is now militarily destroyed. The US has no expectations from NATO. But never forget this very important time."

A JOINT STATEMENT HAD BEEN ISSUED

The leaders of France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, and the UK condemned Iran's recent attacks on the Gulf region and its attempts to close the Strait of Hormuz in a joint statement released on March 19.

The text stated, "We express our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait. We welcome the commitment of countries that are making preparatory plans."

'PAPER TIGER' REMARKS

Last week, Trump also made harsh assessments regarding NATO, stating, "Without the US, NATO is a paper tiger. They (NATO) did not want to join the struggle to stop nuclear-powered Iran."
