Open threat from Iran to the US: 'If you support Israel...'

In the early hours of Friday, June 13, Israel announced that it had launched a comprehensive airstrike against Iran's nuclear facilities. Following Israel's attack, nuclear negotiations were shelved. All eyes turned to the US, which had been at the table during this process. US President Donald Trump's statements of support for Israel and reports that the American military has completed preparations for a troop deployment in the region have increased global concern.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi sent harsh messages to Washington in an interview with NBC News. Araghchi explicitly stated that if the US provides military support to Israel, Iran will launch attacks on American targets in the region.

Stating, "If there is a war, the parties will attack each other. This is a very clear and understandable situation. It is every country's legitimate right to defend itself," Araghchi indicated that Iran has made the necessary preparations.
