Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif: India will face the consequences of the attacks

As tensions between the two countries continue following missile attacks carried out by India on Pakistani territory and the region of Azad Kashmir, which is under Pakistani control, Prime Minister Sharif addressed the nation.

Sharif stated that India will have to face the consequences of the airstrikes it carried out on May 6.

Reacting to the attacks, Sharif said, "Perhaps they thought we would take a step back, but they forgot that Pakistan is a brave nation."

Stating that it took only a few hours for Pakistan to "bring the enemy to its knees" in response to India's airstrikes, Sharif used the expression, "The five fighter jets that were the pride of India are now nothing more than a pile of ash and rubble."

Emphasizing that Pakistan has once again proven its superiority "against the enemy" in conventional warfare, Sharif vowed that every drop of blood shed in the aforementioned attacks would be avenged.
