Pentagon announces: High-level departure in the US military!
The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced that Secretary of the Navy John Phelan has stepped down from his post and that Under Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao has been appointed as his interim successor.
A high-level personnel change has taken place in the US military. US Department of Defense Spokesperson Sean Parnell announced in a statement on social media that US Secretary of the Navy John Phelan has left his position.
Without providing details regarding the reason for the departure, Parnell thanked Phelan on behalf of the Pentagon for his services to date. The statement included the following: "We wish him success in his future endeavors. Under Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao will serve as the acting Secretary of the Navy."
