Person wandering near Republican convention in the US shot by police
It has been reported that police shot and killed a person near the Republican National Convention held in Milwaukee, USA.
According to reports in the US press, a police officer from Ohio, who had arrived to increase security at the convention, spotted a suspicious-looking individual near the convention site.
Eyewitnesses stated that the suspect was holding two knives and was brandishing them toward the police.

Former US President Donald Trump appeared in public last night for the first time since the assassination attempt he survived during a campaign rally on July 13, by attending the Republican National Convention.
Trump is expected to deliver a speech at the convention on Thursday.
