Warning to Israel from Pezeshkian! 'We are not seeking war, but we will give an appropriate response'
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that his country is not seeking war but will provide the necessary response to protect its rights. Speaking at a cabinet meeting in Tehran, Pezeshkian emphasized that they would respond appropriately to Israel's aggression. Pointing out the US support for Israel's actions in the region, Pezeshkian stated that Western leaders have failed to keep their promises to stop the attacks in Gaza.
According to Iranian state television, Pezeshkian spoke at a cabinet meeting held in the capital, Tehran. Addressing Israel's attack on his country, Pezeshkian said, "We are not seeking war; we will defend the rights of our nation and our country. We will give an appropriate response to the Zionist regime's aggression."

Drawing attention to the fact that the US supports Israel's aggression in the region, Pezeshkian stated that if Israel's aggression in the region continues, tensions will spread.
Pezeshkian reiterated once again that Western leaders had promised them that Israel's attacks in Gaza would be stopped, but that they had failed to fulfill this promise.
ISRAEL'S ATTACK ON IRAN
Israel announced that it had carried out an attack on military targets in Iran on October 26 as a "retaliation" for Iran's missile attacks on October 1, and that the operation had been completed "successfully."
Iran announced that some military points in Tehran and the western provinces of Khuzestan and Ilam were targeted, and that air defense systems had "successfully" countered the attacks, though "limited damage" occurred in some locations.
It was announced that 4 soldiers and 1 civilian lost their lives in the attacks.
