Police intervene in pro-Palestine demonstration in the UK

High-turnout pro-Palestine demonstrations, which have been held in the capital every Saturday since October 14 following the start of the Israeli army's attacks on Gaza, have entered their 4th week.

UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman's characterization of solidarity protests with Palestine as "hate marches" could not prevent demonstrators from gathering with Palestinian flags at the famous "Trafalgar Square" in the center of the capital.

Towards the end of the demonstration, it was observed that the police intervened against the group.

Despite the cold weather and rain, the demonstrators, who gathered at the call of numerous non-governmental organizations, carried banners reading "Shame on you Rishi Sunak, Shame on you Netanyahu" and "Free Palestine," demanding that the British government support calls for a "ceasefire in Gaza."

In addition to former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, numerous members of parliament and representatives of human rights organizations attended the demonstration and delivered speeches.
