ABOUT THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
The country's Federation Council decided earlier this month that the presidential election would be held from March 15-17, 2024.

Putin, who will participate in the election race as an independent candidate, will be supported in his election campaign by the "United Russia" party, which holds seats in the Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament.
