Putin's warning to the government: He targeted economic policies

The economic management led by Mehmet Şimşek, which took office last year, had begun to soften its relations with Western financial circles in addition to its hot money policy.

Stating that they are aware of the recently changing economic model in Turkey, Putin said regarding the issue: "Turkey's economic management has recently been focusing on obtaining loans, investments, and grants from Western financial institutions. This is probably not a bad thing. But if this stems from restricting trade and economic relations with Russia, then the Turkish economy will lose more than it gains."

While stating that one of the prerequisites for capital inflow to Turkey is joining the sanctions against Russia, Putin argued that if Turkey takes steps in this direction to get closer to the West, it will suffer economic damage.

"INFORM ERDOĞAN ABOUT THE FACTS"

Stating that the natural gas hub planned to be established in Turkey is intended to be an electronic platform for gas trade, primarily to Europe, Putin used the following expressions:

"There is a matter I would like to draw your attention to. While Turkey cooperates with Ukraine in some areas, Ukraine is trying to strike the pipelines that carry gas to Turkey. This is not a joke or an exaggeration in any way. Two unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by the Russian army's electronic warfare systems and fell next to the gas pumping station on the Black Sea coast. Please inform our friend President Erdoğan about the facts regarding this issue. There are also constant attacks with unmanned maritime vehicles against the ships protecting the delivery system under the Black Sea."
