Qatar and Iran discuss Gaza
Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed the situation in Gaza with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
According to a written statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Al Thani and Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi held a phone call.
During the call, the two discussed relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, as well as issues of mutual interest.
Al Thani and Araghchi also discussed developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani also reiterated his country's satisfaction with the agreement reached between the US and Iran to begin the next phase of talks.
