Qatar announces: New details on the 4-day ceasefire

It has been reported that the 4-day ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas will begin within 24 hours.

The announcement was made by Qatar, one of the mediators.

In a written statement issued by Hamas, it was stated that a temporary ceasefire agreement was reached with Israel following a long negotiation process mediated by Qatar and Egypt.

According to the agreement, it was stated that "150 Palestinians in Israeli prisons will be released in exchange for 50 Israeli hostages," and that these individuals will consist of women and children under the age of 19 from both sides.

According to the agreement, the ceasefire will last for 4 days, and hundreds of trucks carrying humanitarian aid and fuel will enter the Gaza Strip, with fuel and aid supplies being transported to every region of the Gaza Strip without exception, regardless of whether it is in the north or south.

Furthermore, the statement noted that during the ceasefire, air traffic in the southern part of the Gaza Strip will be halted all day, and in the north, it will be halted for 6 hours daily between 10:00 and 16:00, and it was recorded that Israeli forces will adhere to the principle of not detaining or attacking anyone throughout the entire Gaza Strip.

The statement emphasized that freedom of movement for people along the Salah al-Din Road from the north to the south will be guaranteed.

According to Israel, there are 239 Israeli hostages held by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in the Gaza Strip.
