Remarkable statement from Zelensky: 'We are ready to sign the mining agreement with the US'

However, the Ukrainian leader avoided giving a direct answer, stating, "I just want Ukraine's position to be heard."

Speaking about the summit in London, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine's best security guarantee is a strong army. Stating that relations with the US will continue, he expressed that the tension he experienced with Trump could lead to a positive outcome for peace.

''I CAN RESIGN FOR NATO MEMBERSHIP''

Zelensky responded to a question regarding calls for his resignation from some US politicians by saying that he could leave office if Ukraine is accepted into NATO. "If Ukraine becomes a NATO member, I will have completed my mission and I can resign," he said.

However, noting that this will not be an easy process, the Ukrainian leader said, "It is not enough just to hold elections. It would be necessary to prevent me from participating in the elections, and that will be more difficult."
