Russia announces it has struck Ukraine's military infrastructure
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a group strike was carried out using high-precision weapons and UAVs against Ukraine's military infrastructure and a gunpowder manufacturing plant.
A statement issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Ukraine's military infrastructure had been struck. The ministry announced that they had hit Ukraine's military infrastructure as well as a gunpowder manufacturing plant with high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Noting that attacks on military elements in Ukraine are continuing, the statement included the following:The Russian Armed Forces carried out a group strike this morning against Ukraine's military infrastructure and a gunpowder manufacturing plant using high-precision weapons and UAVs. The attack reached its target. All designated elements were hit. The statement concluded with these remarks.
The statement further noted that over the past 24 hours, attacks were carried out in 138 areas against Ukrainian ammunition production facilities, UAV depots, and locations where troops and military equipment were deployed, adding that 8 Ukrainian unmanned naval vessels were destroyed.
The statement emphasized that since the beginning of the war, 650 aircraft, 283 helicopters, over 38,981 UAVs, 590 air defense missile systems, 20,120 tanks and armored vehicles, 1,504 multiple rocket launchers, 20,104 howitzers and mortars, and 29,667 special military vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian army have been destroyed.
The ministry's statement further noted that since August 6, the Ukrainian army has lost 45,980 soldiers, 262 tanks, 204 infantry fighting vehicles, 143 armored personnel carriers, and 1,372 armored vehicles in the Kursk direction.
