Russia: Death toll from Ukrainian army attack on Luhansk rises to 20
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the death toll from an attack by the Ukrainian army on a bakery in the city of Lysychansk in the Luhansk region has risen to 20.
In a statement from the ministry, it was noted that the number of people who lost their lives in the attack in question has risen to 20, and the number of injured is 10. It was reported that rescue efforts for people under the rubble are ongoing.
"TERRORIST ATTACK" ASSESSMENT
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations had reported yesterday that an attack was carried out by the Ukrainian army on a bakery in the city of Lysychansk and that 15 people had died.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova also stated that there were dozens of civilians in the bakery during the attack and declared the act a "terrorist attack."
Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions were illegally annexed by a decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 30, 2022.
