Russia: Drone attack flying towards Moscow thwarted
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that a drone (UAV) attack flying towards the city was thwarted by Russian air defense systems.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated in a post on his Telegram channel: "An attack by a drone flying towards Moscow was thwarted by air defense systems in the city of Elektrostal. According to preliminary reports, there is no damage or loss of life at the site where the drone fell. Emergency services are working at the scene."
Sobyanin had reported last night that a drone flying towards Moscow was shot down by air defense systems in the Russian city of Belgorod.
