Russia: 'One person killed in Ukrainian attacks on Belgorod'
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced on his social media account that 1 person lost their life and 7 people were injured in an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It has been reported that one person was killed in attacks carried out by Ukraine on the Russian city of Belgorod.
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated in a post on his social media account that in attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine between 07:00 on March 23 and 07:00 on March 24, one person lost their life and 7 people were injured.
Pointing out that the attacks caused damage in the city, Gladkov stated, "214 apartments, 32 multi-apartment residential buildings, 34 detached houses, 1 warehouse, 3 social facilities, 9 commercial facilities, and 40 cars were damaged."
UKRAINE ATTACKED AGAIN IN THE LATE AFTERNOON
Gladkov stated that towards the evening, Russian air defense systems shot down 22 Ukrainian aerial targets over the Belgorod region, adding that 4 people were injured in the attack.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also stated in its announcement that around 17:50 Moscow time, the Ukrainian army carried out an attack on Russian territory using an RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system.
The statement included the words, "22 missiles were destroyed by air defense systems in the Belgorod region."
