Russian-made MiG-29 fighter jet crashes in India
A Russian-made MiG-29 fighter jet on a night training mission crashed in the Indian state of Rajasthan; the pilot survived.
In a statement on the Indian Air Force's X account, it was reported that a Russian-made MiG-29 fighter jet crashed after encountering a critical technical issue during a routine night training mission in the Barmer region.
The statement noted that the pilot survived the accident by using the ejection seat system and that there were no casualties in the area where the aircraft crashed.
It was also noted that an investigation into the accident has been launched.
