Saudi Arabia decides to expel Iranian diplomats

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken a significant step due to Iran's recent attacks on Gulf countries. In an official statement, it was announced that the military attaché at the Iranian Embassy in Riyadh, his deputy, and three other diplomats have been ordered to be expelled, and the personnel in question have been requested to leave Saudi Arabia within 24 hours.

The statement noted that the attacks carried out by Iran against Saudi Arabian territory, sovereign areas, civilian residential zones, economic institutions, and diplomatic missions are clearly in violation of international law and conventions. It was emphasized that the continuation of these attacks could lead to further negative consequences for relations between the two countries.

Meanwhile, it is known that Iran has been conducting rocket and drone attacks on American bases and strategic points in seven Arab countries since February 28, in retaliation for attacks by the US and Israel.
