Shocking claim from US press: Trump's Gaza plan revealed

The Washington Post, which revealed the content of the peace plan prepared for Gaza by the US President Donald Trump administration, reported that the plan contains significant provisions that could pave the way for a Palestinian State.

SECURITY AND GOVERNANCE REFORM

According to the report, one of the most striking points of the plan is the provision for the establishment of an "interim transitional administration" to carry out "day-to-day" public services in Gaza. It is stated that this administration will consist of qualified Palestinian personnel and international experts. This step is being evaluated as opening a door toward a Palestinian State.

The establishment of the transitional administration will be supported by a new international organization under US supervision. Furthermore, the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority is expected to carry out internal reforms until it is ready to take over Gaza.

THE PATH TO A PALESTINIAN STATE

According to the US peace plan, it is stated that once all development and political reforms are successfully implemented, the path to a Palestinian State will be opened. The plan also marks a significant phase covering the reconstruction process of Gaza.

INTERNATIONAL SECURITY FORCE TO BE ESTABLISHED

Another notable provision is that a temporary International Stabilization Force will be deployed to ensure security in Gaza while a Palestinian security force is being trained. The US plans to establish this force in cooperation with Arab and international partners.

TRUMP CLAIMS DEAL IN GAZA

President Trump had previously stated that he would end the war in the region. In a statement to reporters on Friday, he said, "I think we have a deal on Gaza. We are very close. I think it will be a deal that brings the hostages back and ends the war."

ISRAEL'S DETENTIONS AND PRISONER REPATRIATION

The content of the plan also includes the release of 250 prisoners serving life sentences and 1,700 Gazans detained by Israel after October 7. Additionally, for every Israeli who died while in captivity, the bodies of 15 Gazans will be returned.

DETAILS OF THE NEW PLAN

According to the 21-point peace plan proposal, it is stated that the people of Gaza will not be forced to leave and those who have left will have the right to return. However, details regarding the reconstruction of Gaza have not yet been clarified.
