US President Donald Trump made assessments on his social media account regarding the military operations being conducted against Iran. Signaling that the operations could gradually come to an end, Trump stated, "We are very close to our goals as we consider reducing our major military efforts in the Middle East against the regime in Iran."

Trump also clarified the scope of the military strategy against Iran. In his statement, he said, "To completely neutralize Iran's missile capability, launch pads, and everything related to them. To destroy Iran's defense industry. To eliminate Iran's navy and air force, including anti-aircraft weapons. To never allow Iran to approach the capacity to produce nuclear weapons and to be in a position where the US can respond quickly and strongly if such a situation occurs. To protect our allies in the Middle East, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others, at the highest level."

MESSAGE ON THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

Commenting on the Strait of Hormuz, which closed following attacks by the US and Israel on Iran, Trump said, "The Strait of Hormuz should be protected and monitored as necessary by other countries that use it. The US does not use it."

Trump also stated that the US could contribute to security efforts if requested, adding, "However, there should be no need for this once the Iranian threat is eliminated. More importantly, ensuring the security of the strait will be an easy military operation for these countries."
