Slain Palestinian children commemorated in London
Toys, flowers, and children's shoes were left under a tree to draw attention to the children who lost their lives in Gaza.
A commemoration event was held in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, for the Palestinian children killed in Israel's attacks on Gaza.
Thousands of children who lost their lives in Israel's attacks in Gaza were remembered at an event attended by children across the street from 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister's Office.
Toys, flowers, and children's shoes were left under a tree to draw attention to the children killed in Israel's attacks.
Participants in the event also protested Israel's attacks on Gaza. Carrying Palestinian flags and calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the demonstrators chanted slogans such as "Shame on Netanyahu," "Israel is a terrorist state," and "Free Palestine."
The demonstrators also reacted to the United Kingdom, which abstained from voting on the resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza at the United Nations (UN) General Assembly yesterday.
Protesters further criticized the British government for being "complicit in the genocide in Gaza" due to its support for Israel.
