In a statement issued by the railway company Deutsche Bahn, it was announced that train services were canceled due to the heavy snowfall. It was reported that trains were unable to reach Munich's central train station. Some passengers in Munich and the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg were forced to spend the night on trains.

FLIGHTS CANCELED

A statement from Munich Airport announced that a large number of flights had been canceled. It was stated that flights scheduled to and from Munich Airport have been canceled until 06:00 local time tomorrow.
