Social restrictions announced in Israel following US attack on Iran
Following US President Donald Trump's announcement that they have carried out attacks on three nuclear facilities in Iran, the Israeli military has announced that social restrictions have been imposed in anticipation of a possible retaliation.
In a statement issued by the military, it was noted that following a situation assessment with Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, it was decided to make emergency changes to the Home Front Command's directives as of 03:45 local time.
The statement indicated that all schools across the country have been closed, gatherings have been banned, and only essential businesses will be permitted to remain open.
Israel had decided to impose similar nationwide restrictions following the large-scale attacks it launched against Iran on June 13.
Those restrictions were eased 5 days later.
US President Donald Trump had announced that they carried out airstrikes on three nuclear facilities in Iran: Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.
