South Korean won falls sharply against the dollar

The South Korean won experienced a sharp decline after President Yoon Suk Yeol declared "martial law" in the country, stating that the opposition was involved in anti-state activities.
The US dollar gained approximately 1.8 percent against the won, which fell to its lowest level in two years as of 17:40 TSI.
