Striking claim from Israeli press: US plan for Strait of Hormuz revealed
Assessments regarding the US plan for the Strait of Hormuz have been reflected in the Israeli press. It is claimed that operations could last for weeks and that the goal is not only the strait itself, but also to break Iran's energy influence.
Reports in the Israeli press claim that the US has sent a message to the Tel Aviv administration regarding plans for the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the war could last longer than expected.
HORMUZ PLAN COULD LAST WEEKS
According to a report by Israel's Channel 12 television, US assessments indicate that military operations to open the Strait of Hormuz could continue for weeks.
"STRATEGIC CHANGE TARGETED"
The report claims that the Washington administration aims not only to reopen the strait but also to break Iran's influence on global energy markets. It included statements from US officials saying, "Even if it takes time, we want a strategic change."
CLAIMS THAT ISRAEL IS AWARE OF THE PLANS
The report, which states that Israel is aware of some of the US plans and is actively supporting certain activities, suggests that if the operations proceed as planned, the clashes could last for weeks.
MUTUAL ATTACKS IN THE REGION
It was reported that Israel and the US launched military operations against Iran on February 28, while negotiations between Tehran and Washington were ongoing. It was noted that Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where US bases are located, as well as in Israel.
The report also included the claim that numerous high-ranking officials, along with Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, lost their lives in the attacks.
