Striking results from polls in the US: Biden or Trump?

As the 60th presidential election to be held in the US in November approaches, weekly updated polls are taking the pulse of public opinion.

TRUMP 2 POINTS AHEAD

In the latest joint poll by Reuters and Ipsos, Trump, who lost to Biden in 2020, emerged 2 points ahead of his rival.

TRUMP 41, BIDEN 39

According to the poll, the percentage of voters who said they would vote for Republican Trump reached 41 percent, while the percentage of voters who stated they would prefer Democrat Biden remained at 39 percent.

20 PERCENT UNDECIDED

Meanwhile, 20 percent of those who participated in the poll declared that they were undecided or were not considering voting.

On the other hand, national polls compiled by Real Clear Politics (RCP), which aggregates election polls across the country, also show Trump ahead of Biden, albeit by a small margin.

TRUMP NARROWLY AHEAD IN AVERAGE OF 9 POLLS

According to the average of the last 9 national polls on RCP, Trump received 45.2 percent of the votes, while Biden remained at 44.8 percent.

During the primary election process held in the US ahead of the November 5 presidential election, Biden for the Democrats and Trump for the Republicans had easily reached the required number of delegates.

The Democratic Party convention, where the official presidential candidate will be announced, will be held in Chicago between August 19-22, and the Republican Party convention will be held in Milwaukee between July 15-18.
