Striking toll revealed in US attacks on Iran

US Central Command has shared updated data regarding Operation Epic Fury, which is being conducted against Iran.

The statement reported that more than 9,000 sorties have been carried out since the operation began on February 28, and over 9,000 targets across Iran have been struck. It was also stated that more than 140 Iranian naval assets were partially or completely damaged during the operations.

MILITARY ASSETS USED IN THE OPERATION

The statement noted that a wide range of military capabilities were deployed in the operations. It was reported that nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and submarines, as well as B-1, B-2, and B-52 bombers and various fighter jets, were involved. Additionally, information was shared that numerous defensive assets, including Patriot and THAAD air defense systems, were utilized. It was emphasized that the targeted locations included Iranian military bases, command centers, weapons production facilities, and missile launch sites.

STATEMENT: "NO US FIGHTER JET WAS SHOT DOWN"

In another statement issued by CENTCOM, it was stated that claims regarding a US F-15 fighter jet being shot down over Kuwait are untrue. The statement included the following: "Lies about US aircraft being shot down by Iran have been repeatedly spread on various platforms using fake or misleading images. To be clear; no US fighter jet has been shot down by Iran."
