Support for Netanyahu in Israel has halved
An election poll conducted in Israel shows that support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party has decreased by half.
According to a poll published by Israel's Channel 13, the number of seats held by the Likud Party in the 120-seat parliament is falling to 16. Likud currently holds 32 seats in parliament.
NETANYAHU IS LOSING GROUND
According to the poll, the bloc consisting of far-right and Orthodox parties led by Netanyahu can only secure 45 seats, remaining far behind the 61 required to form a government.
Hamas catching Israel off guard on October 7, the failure to rescue the hostages for 42 days, and the massacre taking place in Gaza have significantly affected Netanyahu's supporters.
