Statement from Syria on Suwayda: Tribal fighters cleared
Syrian Interior Ministry Spokesperson Nureddin al-Baba emphasized that security forces have been deployed to the north and west of Suwayda, stating, "The Suwayda region has been completely cleared of tribal fighters, and the clashes in the city's neighborhoods have ended."
A new statement has been issued by the Syrian Interior Ministry regarding the clashes in Suwayda, located in southern Syria. Ministry Spokesperson Nureddin al-Baba announced via his Telegram account that the clashes in the city have ended. Al-Baba stated, "As a result of the Interior Ministry's intensive efforts to implement the ceasefire agreement, security forces have been deployed to the northern and western regions of Suwayda. Following this development, Suwayda has been completely cleared of tribal fighters, and the clashes in the city's neighborhoods have ended."
Previous official statements had also announced that regime forces were being dispatched to Suwayda. With these latest developments, it is reported that the security situation in the region has been largely brought under control.
