Tensions between Donald Trump and Elon Musk continue where they left off: Is he forming a new party?

The tension between Elon Musk, one of Donald Trump's most significant supporters during the election process and the man appointed to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in Trump's second presidential term, is growing by the day.

Musk, who left his post at the White House in the second year of his tenure and directed harsh criticism at a tax cut bill that became a subject of debate in Congress, has been the talk of the town with his latest statements.

In his assessment of Musk's remarks, Trump said, "I had a very good relationship with Elon. However, I no longer know if that relationship is going well. His words have seriously disappointed me."

"HE WOULD HAVE LOST THE ELECTION WITHOUT ME"

Musk responded to Trump's words, stating, "He would not have won that election without me." Following this outburst, which increased the intensity of the dispute, Elon Musk made an even more striking claim regarding Trump. Musk alleged that Trump's name appeared in the files of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who is associated with child abuse scandals.

IS A NEW PARTY COMING?

Following all these developments, Musk published a notable poll on X, the social media platform he owns. In the poll, he asked the question, "Is it time to form a new political party in America that truly represents the 80 percent in the middle?"

While Musk's poll was answered by millions of users in a short time, debates have begun in the US public sphere over whether he will "form a new political party."
