U.S. President Donald Trump's Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, attended a rally organized by hostage families in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv. Speaking at the rally, which was also attended by U.S. President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner, Witkoff stated that the hostages would return home, saying, "Miracles can happen." Noting that he had long dreamed of this night, Witkoff said, "This is the most powerful sight I have ever seen. Everyone is of one heart. We have gathered here in Tel Aviv, in this sacred place we call Hostages Square, for peace, unity, and hope."

"WE ARE CELEBRATING AN EXTRAORDINARY MOMENT"

Witkoff thanked Trump, Kushner, Muslim and Arab leaders, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for their efforts toward a peace agreement, saying, "Tonight we are celebrating something extraordinary, a moment many thought was impossible. We stand here as living proof that when courage meets faith, miracles can happen. A peace born not of politics, but of courage—the courage of those who refuse to lose hope." It was noted that the crowd reacted when Witkoff mentioned Netanyahu's name.

WITKOFF: "TRUMP SHOWED US THAT PEACE IS SUPERIOR TO PAIN"

Stating that the resilience shown by the Israeli people despite the pain and loss they have experienced is admirable, Witkoff said, "You have shown the world that peace is not weakness. Peace is the ultimate strength. Despite heartbreak and fear, you never lost your faith. Your courage and resilience have inspired the world, and what made this possible was your faith and the courageous leadership of my friend and U.S. President Donald Trump." Thanking Trump once again, Witkoff said,

"Even in the worst of times, he refused to accept the idea that peace in the Middle East was unattainable. He brought together nations divided by generations of conflict and showed us that shared peace is stronger than shared pain. He showed the world that strength and peace go hand in hand. They are not opposites; they are partners."

WITKOFF HIGHLIGHTS EFFORTS OF ERDOĞAN AND ARAB LEADERS

Witkoff stated that the efforts of Muslim and Arab country leaders, including AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, played a critical role in the agreement toward peace in Gaza, saying,

"Thank you for showing that the future of this region can be built not on the ashes of old hatred, but on the promise of shared hope."

"WE WILL CELEBRATE ON MONDAY"

Kushner, who addressed the crowd after Witkoff, wished for the hostages to return home and for their families to find the peace they deserve, while also emphasizing that "many Gazans are suffering, born into a terrible situation through no fault of their own." Pointing to the day the hostages would be released, Kushner said, "We will not celebrate tonight. We will celebrate on Monday."

"THE PRESIDENT WANTED ME TO SHARE THAT HE IS WITH YOU"

Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, also gave a short speech on behalf of her father, saying, "The President wanted me to share that he sees you, he hears you, and he is always, always with you." Stating that the return of the hostages would be a victory of faith, courage, and shared humanity, Ivanka Trump said, "We are praying, and many people are working very, very hard to ensure that this week is a good week for all of you."
