The 5-point proposal offered by the US to Iran has emerged

According to claims in the Iranian press, the US administration has put forward certain conditions for the start of a new negotiation process with Iran. According to the reports, the proposal package presented by Washington contains a total of 5 main points.

The claims state that the US does not accept paying any compensation to Iran, that there are no plans to release blocked Iranian assets, and that it is envisioned that only a single nuclear facility be allowed to operate in the country.

Furthermore, it was alleged that the transfer of approximately 400 kilograms of enriched uranium out of Iran and its delivery to the US is being demanded. The issue of ending conflicts on all fronts in the region was stated to be one of the negotiation topics.

CLAIM OF "THREATS WILL CONTINUE"

The reports in the Iranian media conveyed that it was alleged that even if these conditions were accepted, the military threats from the US and Israel would continue.

The reports, which also included some expert opinions, noted that the proposals presented by Washington were evaluated as "achieving through diplomacy the goals that could not be reached during the war."

IRAN'S NEGOTIATION CONDITIONS ALSO PUBLISHED

On the other hand, the Iranian press also shared with the public the preconditions set by the Tehran administration for potential talks.

According to the reports, Iran has tied the start of negotiations to the taking of 5 separate confidence-building steps. In this context, demands for the cessation of conflicts on all fronts, especially in Lebanon, the lifting of sanctions against Iran, and the return of blocked Iranian assets came to the fore.

It was also stated that Iran wants the damages caused by the war to be covered and its sovereign rights over the Strait of Hormuz to be recognized.
