The coffee detail that saved lives in the plane crash that killed 61 in Brazil
New details have emerged regarding the plane crash in Brazil that claimed the lives of 61 people.
It has been revealed that 10 people did not board the plane that crashed in Brazil, resulting in the deaths of 57 passengers and 4 crew members, because they missed their flight.
According to reports in the Brazilian press, one of the passengers who arrived at the airport hours before the flight, Adriano Assis, went to the cafeteria on the upper floor to pass the time.
MISSED THE FLIGHT WHILE DRINKING COFFEE
Assis, who was drinking his coffee and working at the same time, realized without noticing that the flight time had passed.
"TENSION AROSE BETWEEN ME AND THE OFFICIAL"
Speaking to TV Globo in the country, Assis stated, "When I realized I was late, I immediately went to the gate, but the official informed me that they had closed the gates an hour ago. I argued with the official, and tension arose between us. When I heard the news of the fatal crash, I felt very strange emotions; I went to the official, hugged him for doing his job perfectly, and apologized."
It was stated that 9 other people could not make it to the crashed plane because they confused the airline's name and the flight number.

The ATR-72 type aircraft belonging to Voepass Airlines, which was traveling from the city of Cascavel to Guarulhos, crashed into a residential area in the city of Vinhedo, north of Sao Paulo, on August 9 with 57 passengers and 4 crew members on board.
