The UK is talking about this man! The lawsuit could set a precedent
44-year-old Jamie Scott, who suffered a blood clot in his brain and became unable to work due to a permanent disability after receiving a Covid-19 vaccine, has filed a lawsuit against the vaccine manufacturer.
Debates regarding the vaccines produced against the coronavirus, which caused the deaths of millions of people worldwide, show no signs of ending. Claims that mRNA-based vaccines were released without sufficient testing and caused permanent damage in many people remain as relevant today as they were on the first day.
Jamie Scott, a man living in the UK who received the mRNA-based Covid-19 vaccine developed by AstraZeneca, has applied to the court due to the permanent disability he experienced after being vaccinated.
Scott, a 44-year-old father of two, stated that he fell ill after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine in April 2021 and suffered a blood clot in his brain.
Scott filed the lawsuit, explaining that this caused permanent damage to his brain.
In a report by the British newspaper Daily Telegraph, it was stated that the potential risks of the vaccine were not sufficiently disclosed. Scott's wife, Kate, said, "We have been trying to pressure the government for 18 months, but we have not been compensated for the disability that occurred. So, we are holding AstraZeneca responsible." The British media reported that the outcome of this case could turn into a lawsuit worth hundreds of millions of dollars and could set a precedent.
