U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has announced his nominees for Deputy Special Envoy for the Middle East, State Department Spokesperson, and Ambassador to Tallinn.
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has announced his nominees for State Department Spokesperson, Ambassador to Tallinn, and Deputy Special Envoy for the Middle East.
In posts on his Truth Social account, Trump announced that he has nominated Roman Pipko as Ambassador to Tallinn, noting that Pipko, who was born and raised in Estonia and is a "legal" immigrant, has represented the U.S. in many roles to date.
Nominating Tammy Bruce for State Department Spokesperson, Trump stated, "Tammy has been presenting the truth to the American people for over twenty years."
Trump also announced that he has nominated Morgan Ortagus, who previously served as U.S. State Department Spokesperson, as Deputy Special Envoy for the Middle East.
In the U.S., ambassadorial appointments by the president must be confirmed by the Senate.
