Trump announces new steps regarding nuclear inspections with Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump provided important information to the public regarding negotiations with Iran. In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that Iran has "fully accepted the highest level of future nuclear inspections." The U.S. leader noted that these inspections would ensure nuclear transparency. Trump also argued that the Tehran administration has made other "significant concessions."

Following these developments, Trump announced that maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz would not be obstructed and that there is no need for a new naval blockade. However, he added that the U.S. Navy would continue to maintain a presence in the region and that security measures would not be compromised.

Stating that negotiations would end if Iran does not accept the terms, Trump pointed out that in the event of a disagreement, resorting to a blockade remains among the options, albeit with a low probability.

The U.S. President stated that funds frozen under sanctions would be held in an escrow account under the supervision of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Trump emphasized that the released financial resources could only be spent on food and medical needs, and that these products would be sourced from American producers. "Purchases under this scope will include products such as corn, wheat, and soybeans for American farmers," said Trump, adding that this humanitarian aid must be implemented before the crisis in Iran deepens.
