Trump issues threat-like remarks ahead of Iran talks! 'If there is no deal...'

U.S. President Donald Trump made statements to reporters aboard Air Force One. Responding to the question, "What do you expect from the talks with Iran in Geneva tomorrow?" Trump said, "I will be involved in these talks indirectly. They will be quite important talks, we will see what happens. Iran is generally a very tough negotiator. If you ask me if they are good or bad, I would say they are bad negotiators. Because we could have made a deal; instead, we had to send B-2 bombers and strike their nuclear capabilities. I hope they act more reasonably. They want to make a deal," he assessed. When asked, "Have you been told that a deal with Iran is almost impossible?" Trump replied, "No. I think they want to make a deal. They don't want to face the consequences of not making a deal. They want to make a deal."

"I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH JEFFREY EPSTEIN"

Trump was reminded of statements by former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton accusing him regarding billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of running a sex trafficking ring and was found dead in prison. Emphasizing that he has nothing to hide regarding Epstein, Trump said, "I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I have been completely exonerated. In fact, Jeffrey Epstein, along with an author, worked to ensure I wouldn't get elected. So I am completely cleared. They (the Clinton couple) are the ones involved in this, and that is their problem," he spoke. Trump reminded that the names of many Democratic politicians, including the Clinton couple, appear in the Epstein files.

"CUBA MUST MAKE A DEAL"

Trump also responded to the question, "You are warning Cuba to make a deal. What will this deal look like? What exactly do you want from them?" Arguing that Cuba is currently a de facto collapsed country, Trump said, "They don't even have jet fuel for planes to take off. The runways are blocked. We are currently talking to Cuba. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is currently in contact with Cuba. They definitely must make a deal, because the situation in the country has become a humanitarian threat," he said. Reminding that many people of Cuban descent live in the U.S., Trump said, "Soon they will be happy because they will be able to visit their families and do things they haven't been allowed to do for a long time. I am especially concerned about people who have been treated very badly by Castro and the Cuban administration. They have truly experienced terrible things." Reiterating that negotiations with Cuba are ongoing, Trump said, "We will see how it turns out." Reminding that Cuba is suffering from oil and money shortages due to the embargo, Trump responded to the question, "If a deal is not made, would you consider an operation like the one in Venezuela?" by saying, "I don't want to answer that. If something like that were to happen, it wouldn't be a very difficult operation, as you can imagine. But I don't think it will be necessary."

DID NOT GIVE A DEFINITIVE ANSWER ON POTENTIAL SUCCESSOR

When reminded that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's performance at the Munich Security Conference received positive reactions, and asked whether he would support Rubio's presidency after him, Trump commented, "I don't need to deal with that right now. I have 3 years ahead of me, so this is not a topic I need to worry about at the moment. Both JD Vance and Marco Rubio are great. Both are really very good. When reminded that the Gaza Peace Board will hold its first meeting this week, Trump commented, "All world leaders are putting in very large amounts of resources. I think this will go far beyond Gaza. It can contribute to peace all over the world." Stating that they are working with the United Nations, Trump said, "The United Nations has great potential, but they haven't been able to fully utilize this potential. Still, they can help us.
