Trump: Military targets completely destroyed

A new statement has come from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the recent attacks on Iran.

Publishing a message on the Truth social media platform, Trump stated that the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), under his direction, had carried out "one of the most intense bombardments in the history of the Middle East," adding, "All military targets on Kharg Island, which is of critical importance to Iran, have been completely destroyed."

Stating that the U.S. possesses the world's most powerful and advanced weapons, Trump warned, "In the name of humanity, I chose not to destroy the oil infrastructure on the island. However, if Iran or any other country interferes with the free and safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision."

"Iran has no ability to counter our attacks"

Reiterating that he has built the world's most effective military during his first term and now, Trump said, "Iran has no ability to counter any of our attacks. There is nothing they can do." Trump added, "Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. It will not have the ability to threaten the U.S., the Middle East, or the world. The Iranian military and other elements linked to this terrorist regime should act wisely to lay down their arms and save what is left of their country (which is already very little)."

Kharg Island is known as the largest and most vital oil terminal, through which Iran conducts approximately 90 percent of its crude oil exports. Due to this strategic location, the island functions as the main gateway for Iranian oil to the world.
