Trump posts on X for the first time in nearly a year

Former US President Donald Trump has posted on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, for the first time in nearly a year, ahead of an interview he is set to conduct with Elon Musk. He had last posted on the platform in 2023, following the suspension of his account in 2021.

Republican presidential nominee Trump released a video regarding his election campaign on his X account, just months before the election.

US billionaire Elon Musk lifted Trump's ban in 2022 after acquiring the social media platform, and Trump had shared his mugshot on the platform on August 25, 2023.

Musk will conduct an interview with Trump that will be broadcast live on X at 03:00 TRT, and the interview will be streamed from Trump's X account. Musk, who supported Democratic President Joe Biden in 2020, has since shifted to the right and began supporting Trump following the assassination attempt last July.
