U.S. President Donald Trump made a post regarding the Strait of Hormuz and China, stating, "President Xi of China will give me a big hug. We are working together wisely and very well." Trump also added, "We are very good at fighting if we have to."
Making assessments on social media, Trump used the following expressions:
"China is very happy that I am opening the Strait of Hormuz permanently.
I am doing this for them as well, and for the whole world. Such a situation will never happen again.
They have agreed not to send weapons to Iran.
When I go there in a few weeks, President Xi of China will give me a big hug.
