Trump rates US military strikes on Iran on a scale of 10: 'Their leaders are gone, all their power has been destroyed'

US President Donald Trump made assessments regarding the military operations against Iran during a roundtable meeting held at the White House. Expressing his satisfaction with the progress of the operations, Trump said the process is moving beyond his expectations.

"I WOULD GIVE THE OPERATION A SCORE OF 12-15, ALL THEIR POWER HAS BEEN DESTROYED"

While evaluating the success of the operation, Trump stated, "Someone asked me, 'If you had to give a score from 0 to 10, what would you give?' I said, 'I'd give it a 12-15.' Their armies are gone, their navies are gone, their communication lines are gone, their leaders are gone, and all their power has been destroyed."

"OUR MILITARY IS PERFORMING EXTRAORDINARILY"

Claiming that 32 ships belonging to the Iranian navy have been sunk, Trump noted that military operations are continuing in various areas, adding, "Other than that, we are doing very well. Our military is performing extraordinarily."

The US administration had previously announced that numerous Iranian naval assets had been destroyed.

"THE OPERATION WAS INEVITABLE"

Trump argued that the military campaign against Iran was necessary. Criticizing the Iranian leadership with harsh words, the US President assessed, "The situation there was very bad, and we were dealing with a sick group of leaders. They killed and maimed many people. They tore people apart with bombs, roadside bombs. They destroyed so many people."

Stating that the Washington administration had to take action for this reason, Trump said, "We had a choice to make. We could have accepted this and let it go on for years, or we could have taken action regarding it. And we took action."

"RESPECT FOR THE US HAS INCREASED"

Claiming that the performance of the US military in the operations has drawn attention worldwide, Trump said that military power has strengthened the country's international position.

Trump stated, "What happened in Venezuela and what is happening now, what the B-2 bombers did, the strikes before this that eliminated Iran's nuclear capacity. Right now, our country is respected more than ever before."
